Services
We are committed to offering a customized learning environment tailored to your lifestyle and family's needs.  We understand busy lives and provide flexible solutions to help meet your needs. Telephone and email consultation appointments are available as well as office appointments and home visits, if you live within 100 miles of our home offices in Santa Barbara, California.  Home visits are a popular option for those who would like to have their family and behavioral patterns observed in their most dynamic form. Because every family is unique, our approach for each family is different. Most consultations, though, follow a similar guideline.

Consultation
A typical consultation relationship includes three parts:

  • Initial consultation (office, phone or home). This usually consists of an in-depth information gathering session where Kristi listens to your personal story and begins helping you shape your parenting plan. This session can last 1-2 hours depending on your family’s needs
  • Creation of a personalized parenting plan
  • Hands-on education and training with you and your whole family, if appropriate. This can include weekly sessions, educational meetings and parent trainings until you have a complete understanding of your parenting style and a tool bag full of new and effective language skills and parenting techniques

Fees:    $90.00 per hour / phone and office consultations
$150.00 per hour / home visits and consultations

Fees may vary based on need and are considered on a “per case” basis. Travel and additional expenses may apply when out-of-town or state travel is required.

Parent Education
Kristi presents on numerous topics related to parenting, families and education. She is available to speak at schools, mother’s groups, churches, daycare centers and private homes.
